Over the weekend
Life has never been more hectic, and i am never more sleepy as now. Why do people like to meet early in the morning. I am so not a morning person.

Anyway, over the wkend I met up with some of my secondary classmates and seeing them again, really reminded me of the past. Among the 7 that met, I am the only one thats still studying, 2 are mothers and the rest working. While reminiscing about the past, I realised that there was so things that happened in the past that I do not know of, n my gosh, wasnt i soo shocked.

However, I really take my hat off at 1 particular classmate of mine. I am so impressed with her determination despite all that she has to go through. She got married at 18 and soon 2 kids came along. While expecting her 2nd kid, she and her hubby went thru some glitches in their marriage thus resulting in her suffering from pre and pro-natal blues. While she n her hubby ironed out their differences and decided to try to make things work out, someting happened to her 2nd kid. He has a hole-in-the heart, and after a few bouts of lung infection, he went into coma and woke up with his brain being damaged. My friend now has to devote all her time looking after him. She can no longer hold a regular job and has to look after the kid's every need as he cannot walk, talk or sit. She said that her biggest wish is for his recovery and deep down, thats my wish too. Seeing how she and her hubby toils daily for their kids, and constantly worry abt medical bills, I feel lucky yet ignorant. While we started at the same point, we chose very different paths. While she faces real problems and heavy responsiblities, I am wondering where should my next holiday be and hiding under my parents' umbrella. I really applaude her determination and positive attitude. Just want her to know that no matter what, I will always be rooting for her, cheering her on. =)

okies on a happier note.................. not so happy after all..... I missed my Desaru trip!!!! All thanks to the unreliable information on the booking website. We missed our ferry and did not want to wait for the next one as it will be 5pm! Only found out upon arrival at Changi Ferry Terminal. Rujin's dad dropped us at Tenah Merah Ferry Terminal as he asked us to go Batam instead, but we decided to go to Changi Beach Club for our mini getaway! Didnt do anyting much but just rot. I slept alot as i was lacking slp. hahahaha.. pay $ to slp, can do it at home rite. I was also attacked by mosquitos during our walks to Changi village to makan. We did a mental calculation and realised that in 1.5 days, we walked abt 5km. Not too bad... not too bad.

On Monday, I did something for the 1st time.

I went FISHING!

Changi Beach Club! Lots of kids on sunday as they have swimming lessons. Some were wearing luminous colored flippers, soo cute.

Me hard at work.... I'm cutting fish! We bought sotong too but they dun seems to be very well-received by the fish.

Found the easiest way to wait.

Sleep

However, we didnt managed to catch any fish. Guess I do not have any luck or patience for fishing. U have no idea how badly i was begging for some stupid fish to bite the bait.

But guess i will give it a go again, just to prove that i have fish-luck.

What a wkend. Time to start work again. Depressing.

17th Feb
As i was sitting in a GSR on a rainy day waiting for my grp mates, I saw something.

Deciding to take a closer look... i walked forward n gotten a shock.

My gosh... who will do something like this! Luckily its a new and clean panty liner.

Finally my IT&Law project has a topic. Its the 4th one that we chose cos the first 3 are taken! We gotten so sick trying to find a topic that I just told the prof to give us one.

Anyway, meeting today was more efficient than usual, because i decided to swing into action esp for the admin side such as booking meeting places, arrange meeting with the prof. Its so not me to be the note-taker for project meetings but sometimes we do not have much choice.

Oh, I visited SMU library for the 1st time, nice but confusing. Didnt get to explore much so will do it another time.

More importantly, my strategy grp mates celebrated Zhirong's bday. It was a surpise. Vanessa and Justina tricked her into going to Pick&Bites, where the rest of us are waiting for her.

v day
This week is the time when guys get poorer and gals are like princess...

Wait... when I mean gals I do not mean ALL gals but in particular unattached and attractive gals. Girls like me? Well, we do not get the flowers, the bears anymore, because after 2 people are together for awhile, things just get practical. But its okie, cos though the flowers n all are nice, I do not know what to do with them after like 5 mins. Hey a disclaimer 1st! If anyone of u intend to give me flowers, pls ignore the previous line cos I still wanna receive flowers. Oh... I am sooo contradicting, but well, i am a Gemini rite.

Anyway, I was so busy on Vday that Rujin n me had MacDonalds. Apparently we werent the only couple dining at a fastfood place, my strat group mates had LongJohnSilver.

After my quiz on the next day we had a proper Vday dinner, though its 1 day late but its more reasonably priced and more important, its less crowded. We went for the cable car dinner and my gosh, its a long dinner for a 3 course meal. We were only served at Mt Faber, when the car made a loop thus the dinner took about 2 hrs. Being impatient and a true fastfood gal, I had to self-entertained myself, so what did i do? Took tons of self-potraits but do not worry, will not torture the readers with overwhelming pictures of moi!

Trying to be artistic. Anyway it was so dark that we took out the red lampshade.
Rushing for time! We have to be at Mt Faber at 7.

Rujin's main course of some beef thingy
Mine is fish! Salmon, its nice but cold

disgusting people
I am totally disgusted how Singaporeans can be.

I was taking the MRT when i saw this old lady about 70ish enter the train and everyone looked at her but no one gave up their seat. So my guilt starting to prick on me and in the end i offered my seat to her. I stood up and told her to sit and as she was moving towards the seat, this woman in her fifties (she was standing in front of me with her back facing me) suddenly sat down. The old lady and me stared at her in shock and she just stared at us back. Arrgh..hello!!!! the seat aint for u! Suddenly this other guy who saw the whole incident stood up and offered his seat to the old lady. Lucky for that seat-stealing woman, cos i almost wanted to tell her off though she is much older than me. Angrily i dumped my heavy bag on the floor n keep looking at that seat-stealer. Then there's an empty seat, so i sat down with 2 PRC guys betw the seat-stealer and me. At Bishan, quite a few people alighted and that seat-stealer went over to the opposite side to sit. What's her bloody problem!!!!!

Went I got on the feeder bus at Woodlands, it was pouring and as it peak hour, so the bus was pack! Just as everyone was jostled and squashed, there was a guy that thinks his bolly is the most precious thing around...his bolly took up an entire seat and he jus stared at anyone how looked at the seat.

This is just 2 examples of how ugly people can get....

All the civic and moral education lessons came to waste.

Lets all not be like the 2 people i met today.
