| acute gastritis |
I am so hungry, tired, in pain, hot and dehydrated.
I'm suffering from acute gastritis. Thats according to the doctor.
Hungry because I will just barf out everything that I consumed. Yes, everything. Including water and medicine. I have just finish 1/2 a rice cake (no, not some sticky glutenous thingy but its dry and cunchy) and so far its the only thing that yet to face the Merlion effect. Do not understand how some gals will purposely make themselves vomit after every meal. Its just a torturous thing to do. I cant take it anymore, fed up of throwing up everyting that goes in.
Tired because of the drowsiness of the medicine and the aching of the body. Moreover, running to the toilet many times a day is no joke. You do not know how much I wish for an Osim chair now.
In pain cos my tummy seems to be doing cartwheels non-stop. Ohh no.. its starting to churn again. Think that its time to visit the toilet soon.
Dehyrated because water just keeps going out.. need to retain some but how!
Hot because I am having a fever, so glad that I've decided to bring a thermometer to HK.
My roomie is very nice, she offered to buy dinner for me after her class but thats 930. But I wonder what will she come back with.
Ohh.... and I am so surpised that she was able to sleep thru all the noise and smell I created this morning. Didn't make it to the toilet so some of my food from last nite landed on the floor and wall. It stinked! Yet she could just sleepy thru everything.
so shitty to be sick and alone... have to clean up and do everything. |

| sunday= restday |
Its always been said that when one is alone, time passes very slow but i beg to differ.....
Time passes very fast for me today. And no, I was out doing tons of stuff but stayed in the entire day. Well.. it did help that I finally rolled out of bed at abt 230pm. No no no... i was being a pig but I only slept at 6am... woke up many times in betw but decided that its sunday, so its only natural to sleep in. Was supposed to meet some of the English gals for dim sum but couldn't muster enough energy to drag myself out of bed, get dressed and to the dim sum place. Will join them some other time.
Well, after a simple lunch of Maxim's almond fingers (trust me.. they r simply irresitable! I finished the entire box) I started surfing around for information on Taipei... I have no choice cos my lazy bf always relys on me to do the research if we r going anywhere, pls do not bother to ask him why cos i am sure his ans will be sometime like "I rather do things my gal likes". What a political answer right.. wahhaa... but frankly I do not mind doing the research as I totally enjoy it. It gives me an opportunity to read up more about the attraction, learn about the rail/flight/bus routes , schedule and pricing. Basically, keeps me inform of whats going on. No no no.. I am not a control freak.. I just like to see the BIG PICTURE. I am always more a big picture person, not that good with the nitty gritty stuff. But I guess that over the years, I am getting better with details.. wonder if it has to do with the fact that I am in the Accountancy Fact...
Anyway, talkin abt Rujin, I just recieved a call from him at some wine fair... he said that he has most likely either broke or dislocate the 4th toe on this right feet. I was like OMG... was pretty pissed that instead of seeking immediate medical help, he sounds so excited abt it. Okies i understand that its not everyday that one dislocate one's toe but isn't it painful to be hobbling ard instead? He said that its late so he will go see the doc tomorrow. He simply amazed me.. cos instead of groaning in pain, he still able to make his way down to some wine fair.
I joked that if his toe gets distorted, I do not want him anymore as he will not be prefect and we both laughed abt it... sarcasm has always been my way of showing care... I am not really those kind of person that will make a big fuss, googoo gaagaaing over someone but that doesnt mean I do not care. Well.. those who knows me will know what I mean. Anyway, back to my point... it suddenly hit me that while I joke abt not wanting Rujin cos of some imprefection, I do know of people who blatantly writes of guys and gals because they are not considered prefect by conventional measures. Is physical prefection that important? I think that everyone, including myself, do judge others, perhaps just by a different set of criterias. Never forget once a friend of mine told me before that there was this girl that was very sweet and interested in him but she is not pretty enough. Such comments are not rare, just look around and there are judgements made about other people all the time. Good morals that our parents, school, society taught us when we are younger are all gone... well.. as I've mentioned.. I am not saint... in fact, I can be rather bitchy at times so I do pass unkind comments and judgements on others. Well, I'll try to restraint my comments, because I truely believe in retribution, so whats goes around, comes around. ohh.. this is going to be so tough.. but I'll try!
okies beside watching Shanghai Noon on tv, the other thing that I spent lots of time today doing was reading the papers. Guess the section which I spent the longest time was the classified. Always find it interesting. Will not bore everyone with extracts from the papers again.
Ohh.. if you are wondering why I slpt so late last nite, it was because I went out with Debbie and the other exchange student... think in all there were more than 30 of us.. but some when back earlier, some when popping by other clubs.. so at any time, there's about 12 people. My gosh.. it was soo tough to get everyone to go some place toether, tons of indecisiveness, someone always looking for someone who went missing but on the whole it was pretty fun. I almost lost my hp as it dropped out of my pocket at this place calle Bulldog, luckily I realised it early and ran back to take and thankfully, the people working there were nice and kept it for me though I had to provide tons of info like where i sat, what model etc etc in order to proof that its mine. Debbie ran after me and both of us where kinda breathless while by the time we got to Bulldog, think its time to go for a run. In the end, at abt 4am, Debbie and me got tired of waiting for everyone so took a cab to Wan Chao for kebahs. She asked me if I wanna go and get a drink as the kebah was making us thirsty so she suggested MesAmies. Seems like she knows everyone there, trust me everyone that works there, even the cleaning lady! The cute white guy told us to make out way to the back of the counter to wait for him and he took so long that Debs got the bartender to give us water. When the cute guy came, got us coke, which i happily gulped down as that was exactly what I was craving for. He had a long chat with Debs and I found out that he was her bf's high school friend. His name is Richard. haha.. next time I go back there.. definitely have to make sure its with Debbie! Will post some pictures soon.. Oh yah.. forgot to mention that Martin was such a darling, the 3 of us kinda stick together the whole nite and he keeps a lookout for Debbie and me, making sure we were always nearby!
Anyway, think will be spending more time alone these few days as my usual companion, Sheena has gone to meet her dad in Tianjin and wouldnt b back till sunday, and by then I will be in Taipei.
Wanna post some picts.. but have no idea how come it doesn't appear... mmm.. n I've no idea how come my blog layout is weird.. the side bar doesnt appear where its supposed to b but rite at the bottom.. what happened? can someone help me.. I didn;t even touch the template!
Arrgh.. going to bed..I'll figure out abt the blog tmr. |

| Thursday |
Its Thursday... my favourite day of the week in HK because:
1) My last class of the week is on Thurs.. to be precise.. thursday morning! Which means my weekend starts from Thursday 1230pm. Cos of long wkend, I can: 1.1) Go on short trips (although have not really been on as many as I hoped for. its okies, nov and dec is time to make amends) 1.2) Go out to various attractions in HK and not have to squeeze with the wkend crowd. But then, HK is always crowded. Sorry only can think of 2 reasons at this moment but generally I feel relax on thurs as I know that I have fri, sat n sun to finish any tasks that are due the following week, so no rush and able to take the day of, and if I am going anywhere, thur represents the start of the adventure.
2) Ladies Nite at Lan Kwai Fang...which is good if i decides to go for a boogie. Do not know why but I actually club very little in HK, even though its supposed have a vibrant clubbing scene... mmm.. tink age is catching up at me. I've semi-retired! Although, at this very moment, I kinda regret not going with Debbie because I've stayed in my room for the entire day
oh fine... know that all that I've written was rubbish but I really do not know what to write. Nothing really happened today as I stayed in the entire time. Did my 1.5wk load of clothes, cooked lunch and dinner, surf the net for information regarding Europe, found a new HK drama series to watch, finish my IS report selection form and read the entire Southern China Morning Post (its 2 days old, been busy to read). So you see, my day was boring but i'm fine with it as its nice to time to myself occasionally.
Well, after putting away my clean, nice-smelling clothes, and sweeping the floor, I realised that my room is very neat and nice but I have no idea why my room back in Sg is in a constant mess and flith. This made me realised that my sis is the one thats creating the mess! My bro just informed me that the room that my sis and me share is in total chaos and her things are starting to invade my table. Evidence of me making an effort to be neat and un-cluttered:
well let me share some interesting reads in the papers.. 1) Shanghai Normal University has decreed that low-cut tops and higher education do not mix, thus issuing a new dress code. The new dress code forbids students from revealing bits of breasts, backs or bellies in the calssroom. No slippers and sleaveless garments. Students are also require to wear uniforms (apparently all the the wrong sizes and bad colors) at functions such as morning exercises and flag-raising ceremonies. Thankfully no SMU students went to that University for xchange because we will surely not meet the dress code requirements! Imagine a life with no short skirts, flip flops, halter, hipsters etc etc...the guys will be so bored as there will be nothing to see.
2) Donald Tsang understands game theory and its relevance to HK's politcal situation and display a subtle application of game theory.... he appears eager to show that he can be the bridge between the central govt and the local pro-democrats... it remains to be seen whether Mr Tsang's apparent use of gram theory will maintain a balance among various sectors of the community and secure Legco's support for this soon-to-be unreveiled political reforms. For those that do not know, game theory was developed by Hungarian mathematician John von Neuman as a way to understand strategic interactions and decision-making in terms of the choices made by parties wo were either bargaining or in conflict. In short, game theory is an interdisciplinary appoarch to the study of human behaviour. Therefore, it helps to understand why sometimes its in the player's long-term interest to foster co-operation rather thany to confrontation. Example is the doctrine of mutual assured destruction, a military strategy to deter military wat by showing that the full-scale use of the nuclear weapons by one of two opposing sides will result in destruction of both. Actually, I included this in my blog to serve as a reminder to myself. I tend to be a little hot-headed and capable of using spiteful words, in short, totally capable of being a tyrant and a bitch. I am no pacifist by nature, so have to remind myself that by being confrontational isn't always the best thing to do. Hey but this doesn't mean I am a pushover... wahahaha. Ohh.. just for your information, 11 years ago, the Nobel prize in economics was shared by 3 game theorists, including John Nash who claims that was his most 'trivial work'. Initially, game theory was one subject I am hoping to take on exchange, but sadly CityU doesnt offer.
Think that I better stop this blog entry... its just utter rubbish.. mind malfunctioning.

| its 20/10 |
Was just reminded by a loyal reader that I've not blog for a long time... wahaha.. didn't know that I have fans... okies... fan. Always thought that this is one of the boring-iest blog around!
Anyway, didn't do anyting very significant these days.. life is pretty much the same... mmmm lets see what I've done:
Shenzhen Yesh.. went to Shenzhen again... this time.. the focus seems to be food! Janice, Edison and me just went eating n eating n eating. Trust me! The food is good.. in fact i prefer it over HK. I mean at least there's other flavours other than just salt and oil. The spicy noodles r just shiok according to Eddy, it was so spicy that his lips were lil swollen but he just went on n on.. I love this mutton kebah thingy.. actu it resembles satay but yum... the tot of it is making me drool!! Ohh... had this really nice green bean pastry that was still pipping hot.. then had chili fishballs too.. oohhh.. i have to stop! Its making me hungry heee...

Anyway, as usual, Shenzhen is always a nice place to shop for shoes this time I bought 3 pairs. Well.. i have always like to buy shoes so pls do not think that 3 pairs are alot! Pls do not tempt me to buy 13.. or even worse.. 30! As I grow older, I think that I prefer shoes that are practical so even though there are many pretty shoes I keep telling myself that they are just going to murder my feet. Moreover, there are some where I will have no occasion to wear to..so have to give it a miss too.. so sorry beautiful shoes, although some are going cheaply n just calling out to me.. think give u guys a miss ;) Moreover, shall not add to my mother's headache... whenever she looks at mini collection back home she will just shake her head... she used to count the number of pairs but over time, just decided to give up.
Ohh.. a piece of advise.. when in Shenzhen go DongMen to shop instead.. more choices.. cheaper too than Luowu. Usually, tourists just get stuck at Luowu but thats not all Shenzhen has to offer. To get to Dongmen, just that the Shenzhen Metro (only 2RMB) and alight at Lao Jie then just exit (think Exit A) and u are at Dongmen!
So you see, its not very tough. However, if your main intention is to buy fakeies from Shenzhen, then just stay at LuoWu. Think there are more choices there.
Hair Well, I gotten myself a new hairdo yesterday. Now I look even more local.. just wear my glasses and cardigan.. totally can pass of as a Hongkonger. Initially, I didnt like it very much because I had the intention of just trimming it as I want to outgrow my short hairdo but the stylist gave me so many layers that it will take me a very long time to outgrow the layers. BUT the more i see it, the more i like it, n many told me that its nice.. soo okies la.. sorry no long silky hair for at least another yr. Rujin said he doesnt mind cos he prefers me with shorter hair, in fact he likes my curls most. okies let u guys see my new hairdo!
See.. i put on so much wt in hk! Anyway, this short was taken outside sheena's room.
Travel plans Decided travel more in China soon.. so far Yunnan in November, then December.. will go further north. Yes.. pretty silly cos it will be freaking cold then but no choice.. 1 of the travel buddy will only be here then.. Yesh.. Zhuofeng it's u.. dun u back out now.. if u do.. u will....*$)*%# but then being the nice me... i will always 4give, but not 4get! even when we r 60 i will bitch abt it still.. wahahahaha.. tats the scary thing abt women.. they nv 4get anything! Correction. Anything bad! So just do not offend them. But then women tends to 4get too.. if there is incentive to.. ;) |

| Mr Holland's Opus |
Finally finished the show... ok ok.. know that during my last entry I said I am going to watch the show n it was some hours back... no choice.. i'm quite a procastinator remember...
Anyway, its a BRILLANT show... a show that I truely enjoyed and do not want it to end. Simple plot but just as heart-warming. Well, it has always been a movie that I've read and heard so much about, so finally got a chance to watch it and enjoyed every min of it. Initially, I was a little worried that I'll not enjoy the show very much because there are many times when I hear too many good reviews about a movie, I will have very high expectations thus often end up double-disappointed. But thankfully, that didn't happen this time.
In summary, the show is about a musician, Glenn Holland who dreams of composing 1 truely memorable piece of music but had to reluctantly accepts a proper job to support his family hence he became a high school music teacher, hoping that he'll have extra time to write his music. Many years past, and many things happened, and Mr Holland had unknowingly made a difference to the life of many whom he had taught. He himself learnt a major lesson in life from his deaf son. When its time for him to leave (cause the school want to do away with the whole art program), he realised that what he so reluctantly embarked on doing became his passion........ ok shall not disclose more in case anyone wants to watch it... n I'm also a little lazy to type more.
mmm... wonder what should the next movie to watch... think maybe Nowhere in Africa
ooops.. the show i just watched was Mr. Holland's Opus
Opus: A creative work, especially a musical composition numbered to designate the order of a composer's works.
ooohhh.......... my roomie can sleep with lights on (amazing) and she is not as light a sleeper as Daisy (yahoo!!) |

| monkey balm to the rescue! |
Vida-Cold-Plus Capsule was of no use....
Eurocilana Syrup failed me....
Pei Pa Gao wasn't strong enough....
Tissues weren't helpful....
............ just when I am getting desperate and in despair... a silent hero..one that's often forgotten came into my aid... it's...
Monkey Balm!!!!
Oh yeah.. u didnt read wrongly, its like Tiger Balm just that the mascot is a Monkey. To be precise its called- White Monkey Holding Peach Balm. Long and silly name right, guess thats why people simply calls it Monkey Balm. Bought it when I was at some monkey show in ChiangMai for 10bht.. or is it 100? Anyway, bought it to support that particular farm ...it trains and look after monkeys. Initially, I didn't think too highly of it but the small container has proved its value many times. For instance, when my legs were covered with bites.. when I am having a headache.. when my roomie felt sick... n now.. it was the best relief for a blocked nose when all else fail. Ain't I'm glad that I brought it with me to HK!!! (and to think that the only reason why its in HK was because I was too lazy to take it out of this little pouch when I packed it into my luggage)
well.. these days... do not know if its because of the weather but my nose is super blocked... throat hurts n coughs like there's no tomorrow.. in short.. i'm sick n suffering..
Took some medication from Sheena (the 1st 2 items that I mentioned), they were given to her by the doctor but they of not much help.... thankfully, the balm provided some relief n finally caught some 3 hrs of slp before class.
So happy today as the things I wanted from Sg are here!!! Met up with my cousin today to collect them... hee.. so happy... feel liquidated now... dont think i sld list out the everyting that I received but lets just say that some of the items (food stuff) will make my jie meis n me v happy... wahahhaa
Anyway, Matthew (my cousin) asked me why do I want to go to Audit when I grad because there are so many other options that pays better and with better prospects. He is investment banking now and finds it not hard to switch from Law... well.. we all know that IB pays alot.. but am I IB material? More importantly, will they want me? hahaha.. guess not... cos there are so many grad out there with better results... more diligent than me! okies guess its time to wake up..... mmm.. mayb i should sign on instead... I have no more time... in abt 6mths time I will grad!!! Quick... options!!! choices!!! interviews!!!
But for now.. i am going into DVD-land again... this time will be visiting Mr. Holland's Opus. |

| so long |
okies some updates!
Daisy is gone, Kanas is here to stay! Kanas who?? Well she is my new roomie, a local n only 19! My gosh.. she makes me feel like an old hag. Mmm... 1st impression... think she has a lousier 1st impression of me than I have of her as she came in at 930 and I was asleep. I just woke up, looked at her n said "hi, my name is Esther... u r?" She mumbled something but was soo soft and I was so tired to rememberso I just said "okies, see you later" went back to sleep. She left for class. Then she came back again at 1pm, and I was still sleeping (not my fault, I slept at 6am.. insomia). This time I was determined to talk to her, but before I can sit up, she left the room. I went to wash up and heard the door opening, she came back again at 120pm n left the room again at 130pm... okies to cut the story short, she keeps going in and out in flashes that I didnt really get to talk to her. Then we had a floor meeting that nite, but she left halfway to look for her friend, didnt come back till 530am or so... by then I was happily in bed. However, I was woken up by the slam of her cupboard door.
The next day, I got up for class and she was still sleeping. When I came back, she was gone. Then when I was about to go out that night, she came back. Talked for 5 mins and I had to run as I was running late. Came back, and she was asleep. On friday morning, I was blissfully sleeping but was awoken by the noise her icq n msn were producing. Arrgh... OKies to cut the story short, I hardly got to talk to her! So I do not know much about her. Will update abt her in time to come. For now, I just hope that she will try to be more quiet when I am sleeping as I ain a deep sleeper. Hope and pray for me k.
Daisy is gone.. but not before we had some fun... had dinner.. took tons of photos.. exchange contacts n hugs..
This is one of our final photo together (with Flick in the centre)... some guy helped us take it as we tried many times to take ourselves but always have someone's face missing, so the nice chap offered his help. In case u r wondering, yes... they have to literally stooped to my level for the photo because both Flick and Daisy are 5ft 9" and me stands merely at 5ft 1".
Strangely, one of the thing I miss most about Daisy's presence is her wall. This wall: It has photos and cards from people thats important to her. I like it as it livens up the room, making it more homely. Moreover, as I like to sleep on my sides, this is often the sight I see when I get up. Now all I have is a bare wall. Maybe I should do up my wall too... but the thing is if I put in too much effort in my room, I will be very attached to it and can't bear to leave it after 4 mths.
Clubbing Clubbing in HK is about the same in Sg, any difference... mmmm 1) HK has tons of places with ladies nite... so ladies can drink like there's no tomorrow 2) no lockers here.. so gals have to carry their own bags and dance, otherwise be like me at times.. stuff my cash etc into every available pocket 3) they are stricter with regards to ID. No ID = no entry. Janice and Rubs had to go back all the way to Kowloon Tong to get their ID, and its not as if they look 17ish! 4) Gals are actually more covered up here, yes...even in clubs. So do not have be suprise to see a gal in shrug gyrating and will not remove it even though the place is sooo hot (as in temp) Toilet! My toilet mates are nice but there are things that irk me whenever I use the bathroom... so just let me bitch about it a little.
The toilet lady doesnt clean properly! Once a week, a cleaning aunty will come to wash up the toilet but it seems that she only empties the dustbins because there is hair everywhere. I do not really mind the hair but I really do not like it when it get clumpish, especially in the shower area. I know that I do contribute to the lot but it'll be nice to have a clean toilet once in a while. I usually just wear my bedroom slippers into the toilet but during the times when I don't, I have to thread barefooted over the truckloads of hair on the floor. Cant think it anymore, so I sweeped it all up and empty into the bin today.
Second thing that irkes me is that I have no place to put my toiletries in the shower area. My toilet mates and roomies put their stuffs on the holder (which is quite big) so there is only space for my shower form and cleanser. Usually, I will just keep my shampoo, condition etc in my cabinet but I got so tired of taking it in and out that I just left them on the window ledge. The only bad thing about this is that I have to keep tip-toeing to take them down. Arrgh.. I wanna be taller.
Thirdly, there is a question that always on my min- "why do my toliet mates always switch off the heater but leaves everything else on?" I always find it a waste of electricity to leave the lights and exhaust fans on when everyone is sleeping, so I'll make it a point to switch most of the lights off but everytime I showered I have to switch on the heater n wait for it to heat up as its always switched off. okies.. am i making sense? aiyah.... its okies.. just want to whine
Distinction in housewifery My room is almost spick and span!! For now at least... I realised that I have potential to be a very good housewife.... I can clean, wash and cook Well, at least my bed is always made, floor is clean enough so that one can walk barefooted. Cupboard, shelves are neatly packed too.. just table a litle messy. My clothes are clean, a little cumpled as I do not have an iron, some shrank a little but its the dryer's fault, so far no color runs yet. The noodles I cooked are edible, and pretty delicious.... always check for expiry dates...even able to impart some knowledge to others...so in simple terms... I passed!!! Guess the 23 years spent in Sg has taught me well.. or at least my mum taught me well. Guess that I will be able to look after myself quite well. Quick someone give me a pat on the shoulder! I deserve it!!! don't trust me.... ask Eddy.. he said so himself!!! He said that I have the neatest and cleanest room among the 3.. wahahha.. i am getting cocky!
mmm.... The other thoughts are rather random so here goes...
1) gave myself a treat.. went for mani n pedi at Dragon City because its soo cheap compare to Sg. Its less than 1/2 the amount I have to pay in Sg! Although, the color was a little tacky but its okies as the woman did an excellent job. My nails and cuticles were screaming for attention! okies... promise to pay more attn to them in the future.. but... but... its soo afforable here! Even Edison said he might consider going for one. Wonder if it will be cheaper in Shenzhen....
2) Finally did something for my injured feet, I went to the bonesetter. It was rather painful but it does feel better now... much looser.. at least it doesn't hurt when I stand. The place seems quite professional, they even have their own website www.bonesetter.com.hk and the bandaging is among the best I have seen so far.
You know how some place just spread herbs all over the feet before bandaging but this place doesn't... they have this specially prepared pack that is gauze on one side and plastic on the other. Therefore, when I removed it the next day, I do not have dried herbs falling all over the floor, just have to remove the pack n throw it away. Clean and convenient.
3) Just watch the movie "A walk in the clouds" today... and its soo nice. I am so glad I brought my Acer laptop over instead or my Fujitsu, if not I will be soo bored.. I will not be able to indulge myself in dvds. okies I know that many may think why am i watchin dvd when I should be out exploring HK.. but I need something to do at nite right... 4) Going to buy a new novel soon... 5) I just had my most expensive grocery shopping exprience tonite! Okies, its not really alot just Hk$220.70, about S$48. I had to stock up on my food supply as its running very very low. In Hk, I really follow the doctrine of "an apple a day, keeps the doc away" because I always have apples in my room. Why I eat so many apples in Hk because I love apples, they are easy to eat, I can keep them in the room, they are cheap and they smell nice. Think I do not need to shop for groceries for some time. 6) Weather is gettin drier so its time to slab on tons of moisturizer and drink pei pa kao every day. I been taking more of pei pa gao these days as my throat is hurts and I cough at nite as I can feel the dryness in the air. Last nite, I put a basin of water in my room when i sleep, hoping that it will add some moisture to the air. 7) Going to Taiwan from the 28th oct to the 1st nov and meeting Rujin there.... n that kuku just told me that he thought we are departing on the 31st! I almost feel like strangling him.. luckily he can change his departure date... if not he will die big time
okies tired of typing.. promise to update on more regular basis so that each entry be shorter.

| procrastinator |
I am such a procrastinator!
okies fine.. this isn't a new revelation as I know that I am a procrastinator since young and tried to improve the situation. I do not know why I can't be like many I know that will start doing their assignment, chores etc etc immediately when they learn about it. I will dilly-dally and take my own sweet time, only to effectively work on something when its days before its due.
Well... i better stop whining and start working on my assignments |

| midnite chat |
Think I've not blogged for a long time..... but think it doesn't matter cos my blogs r pretty boring. oh anyway, I just came back from a chat with the other 3 gals.... my gosh .. put 4 gossipy women together n they will jus yak non-stop..mmm.. like for 5-6hrs? I think if it wasn't because the wind keeps blowing n blowing we will still be downstairs yakking away. Its rather fun, think will do it more often.
An interesting thing happened when we r downstairs. At abt 3+, almost 4, suddenly 2 fire alarms went off. It woke like half the population of Cornwall st, with many lights flicked on and people standing by the windows looking down at 4 gals sitting at the benches. No one seems to know what happened, so we thought that it was the fire drill (there's going to be one this wk, do not rmb when). Regretted not having my cam to take a pict of the lighted rooms, esp the one with red lights as it looks like a brothel. Well, I asked the security guard at my block n he has no idea who.
Talking about security guards, when I entered the hall, they actually asked me to show my student pass and which room I am staying. I was like "what?". I mean most of them already know me and always talk to me... guess cos this guy is new, never seen him before. Wasted so much time downstairs.
Going to bed, have to get up to do my Thai homework tomorrow. My injured feet is killing me... been aching for the whole day. |
