| Banning of coke |
Among all the things I heard about Singapore on this exchange, there is one that stands out among the rest and that is....
Singapore bans coke. Those underaged are not allowed to drink coke, something that has to do with their diet.
Initially when i heard it, I just laughed it off, thinking that its some misconception but yesterday my physiotherapist asked how is it like to have no freedom. I was like "what do you define as freedom?" I thought he was going to talk about politics but I was so wrong, he was talking about food! He told me that the coke thingy was reported by the press.
Can someone clarify this to the press? We are getting such a bad reputation. |
