| updates |
sorry for the long absence, been trying to get some work done... n finally completed an assignment!!!! okies.. 80% completed as i'm left with the reference, diagram n tons of touching up to do, yet to decide how to rewrite my conclusion as the one i've written sounds sooo cock!
updates:
1) Happy Birthday Kanas!!!
For those that do not know, she is my roomie. As nice as my previous one, neater too and as much a HK-drama addict as me! Which is cool.. cos we will both be watchin on our individual screen n when the character speaks too fast (in cantonese), the subtitles usually goes equally fast so I'll just turn to her n ask "what happened?" then she will explain to me. wahahaha
Only found out about her bday the day before, so sheena companied me on a 2-hrs shopping session trying to find her a pressie... mmm.. actu we were stuck at Festival Walk, the gigantic mall near our hostel, n 2 hrs includes dinner with debs, Ivy n Martin. After much walking, I finally decided on this Lancome gift pack-4 mini juicy tubes, no choice as running out of time n i cannot find something that she will like so in the end i got her something that i like. *hint hint*
2) Yihui got her PSLE results!!!
My tutee gotten back her PSLE results and she's kinda disappointed. When she told me earlier that this is the week that results be realised, I was actually quite anxious. She did pretty decent, a 234 score. I know of some that are disappointed with her results as she's always a very good student but then whats over is over, no point getting upset over that. Well, to me its most important that she faces secondary school life with a positive attitude as Sec sch life one of the most important period of one's life. Its often where and when people will face some change in character, experience many 1st-times, and meet friends who often remain one of your closest.
Cheer up k Yihui!!! Do not worry, I'll surely get you a pressie when I return hahahaha. You didnt disappoint me with your English and since that u've always been good.. I'll try to convince Zhoufeng to get u something too.
3) Lots of work.. haiz
Let see.. I have 1 presentation, 2 tests, 3 assignments and 1 final exam lined up. Dont' wanna talk about it. Will get everything done in time... i hope ... mmmm.. *frowning and pouting*
4) Physiotherapy
Yes yes yes.. sounds weird but I am going for physio session. Remember my sprained ankle 2 mths back? Well, it still aches when I walk too fast, too much, too long, too.. basically still gives me probs. So I went back to the doc n he referred me to a physiotherapist.
According to the physiotherapist, Jeff Lau, my ankle is stuffering from post-trauma arthritis. Basically its still inflammed, so 1st thing that he is going to do is make the swelling subside. The machines used are so cool.... sending short waves, and all other kinda waves thru the area. Took some photos but sadly they do not show the process clearly. Going for my next session tomorrow. It works out to about S$57 per session, thankfully my travel insurance is going to pay for that. So a word of advice... get insurance! You'll never know.
5) pink tees
Some of my white tee now spot a tinge of pink hue. Put it to wash yesterday with my pink cardigan and .... u can guess the rest. Its not my fault! I handwashed the cardigan the last time and the color didnt run.. do not know what happened. Sheena suggested that it may have to do with the temperature of the water as hot water makes the color run. Could it? Well.. it could be the socks too I guess. Going to get bleach and try to salvage the situation. 2 of the ruined tees are among my favourite... booo hoo hooo |
