| Memoirs n CNY |
Finally have the time to blog...been rather busy last few days.
ohh yah.. i caught Memoirs of a geisha. I really love the book and this is really a movie that i'm dying to watch. My comments? mmm... well its pretty good... do not really feel short-charged from the book (unlike Harry Potter IV). I must say that I think the real stars of the show is Michelle Yeoh and Gong Li. Although the story is about Zhang Ziyi's character, somehow she fades in comparison with the other 2 veterans. Well, she still has a long acting career ahead. This may sound silly but I actually discovered grammar mistakes in the script. After the movie, there was this rather irritating young girl that making stupid comments.. i really feel like asking her to shut up.. she keeps commenting on the stars looks. I still remember her saying that GongLi looks awful..come on.. when Gong Li is a star.. she is just learning her ABCs n if she can looks like Gong Li in her late 30s, I will be impress.
CNY is round the corner!!!! I am getting a little excited.. Dong dong chiang dong doong chiang.
but just realised that i am entering my mid-20s.. arrgh.... i love being 23.. its jus a wonderful age to be! Old enough to be taken seriously but young enough to evade questions like "so have a boyfriend? getting married soon?"
Before i go, I have a confession to make... this is to Christine... sorry i lost the bottle of peanut cookie u made!!! Left it in the seminar room and its no longer there when i go back to check. Vanessa suspected that the security guards ate them cos when she asked them, they said they have no idea what peanut cookies she is talking about and had an awkward look.
